The European Space Agency Living Planet Symposium 2013 was held in Edinburgh, United Kingdom from 9 to 13 September 2013 and it was organised with the support of the UK Space Agency.

The proposed themes for that edition were: Oceanography, Solid Earth/Geodesy, Atmosphere, Climate and Meteorology, Cryosphere, Hazards, Near Earth Environment, Land applications, Methodologies and Products.

Following the tradition of the prevoius editions, TERRASIGNA (former ASRC) was present in the Poster session with three works:
•    The posters “Earth Science Data Access and Processing Service for Black Sea (ESPOSS)” will be presented in the section Research and Applications with OPT/IR RS: Water;
•    “Analysis of turbidity levels and river sediment plume in the Danube's Delta coastal area using optical remote sensing data” will be presented in the section Research and Applications with OPT/IR RS: Water;
•     The poster “Visual Data Mining for exploration of EO images archives” will be presented in the section Data Visualization in Space-based Earth Observation.
