The 11th International Conference of Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics (ICNAAM 2013) took place between 21st and 27th of September 2013 in Rhodes, Greece.
Aiming at bringing together the leading scientists of the international Numerical and Applied Mathematics community, the conference intended to cover large scientific domains. Topics that have been addressed to covered research areas of Numerical Analysis and Computational Mathematics as well as of Applied and Industrial Mathematics.
The TERRASIGNA (former ASRC) team participated in the conference with the paper “Estimated Order of Accuracy of a Finite-Volume-Particle Scheme for Artificial Compressibility Euler Equations” that investigated the pseudo-compressibility method for the incompressible Euler equations with a FVPM (Finite-Volume-Particle Method) discretization. The work was part of the research project “Analysis, Extensions and Applications of the Finite-Volume Particle Method” developed by TERRASIGNA under the funding of the National Plan for Research, Development and Innovation.
